Hopefully the first of a series of fairytale themed works... The pendant I've used for the carriage "door" together with the metal spirals used for the wheels were my first inspiration!
The cover has been made from polymer clay and decorated with various metallic powders and waxes. Embedded in the clay are various found items... a delicate pendant for the carriage door, bead spacers as wheel spokes and flower buds, paua shell as flagstones, and a glass cabochon as the silver moon.
My favorite part are the little flowers on the bottom corners... I made them quite by accident and am so happy with how they look!
