I'm so pleased with this one I think I'm going to keep it for myself! It's a small wooden box, made in England (or so says the carving on the bottom!)
The lid (shown in picture) is decorated with polymer clay in brown and turquoise tones, and added a large turquoise bead to the handle in the middle. The details include a little buckle, faux wood grain, some swarovski crystals, a small brass heart lock, and lots of gorgeous textures that have been brought out with an acrylic wash.
I've also covered the bottom half of the box in clay with small details of turquoise - it has a jagged rustic edge that stops halfway up the box, and the remainder of the box has been painted with a wash of dark brown acrylics to stain the wood.
