... That as soon as you can't get to your craft supplies (mine are all boxed up for moving house) inspiration strikes!
I've had a million and one ideas lately and it's driving me nuts that I can't get my hands into my clay. My craft room (I'm tempted to call it an art studio but that seems too sophisticated for my inconsistent art making!) is definitely going to be the first thing I unpack. My favorite craft room item is the beat up old wooden dining table that Mum donated to me when she upgraded. I grew up eating at this table. Now it's covered in paint, glitter, tape, and I LOVE IT!

That got me wondering - How many other people are lucky enough to have craft rooms? What's in it? How do you organise your stuff? What does your dream craft room look like?
Better yet - post me links to cool ideas of how to set up my new room. Nothing more exciting than a blank canvas

I have a question, if anyone is reading!
What do you think I should spend my time making this year?
Journal covers? Boxes? Quote magnets? Or even reimagine steampunk heart pendants and my donut magnets?

I want to spend a bit of time making a tonne of new stuff, then list it all at once and sort of "regenerate" my shop. I'm also thinking of changing the brand name to just "Kitness".

Any thoughts are welcome Hope you are all having wonderfully deviant days!

In other news, I've moved house recently and have got a new creating space all set up. I'm very lucky to have my own seperate office to use for all aspects of my craftiness. A new toaster oven and pasta machine have given me plenty to play with!

Hey everyone!

A lot of you have told me you already work with (or want to work with) polymer clay.

I thought I'd share my sources of inspiration with you!
Usually I just sit down, pick a certain destash item or texture I want to use, and then go from there.
For larger projects, like my boxes, I create a little pile of "themed" bits and pieces, which I then hunt through as the creation "evolves"...

That aside, there are also some great resources out and about for polymer clay tip and ideas.

The Polymer Clay Daily website (polymerclaydaily.com/) showcases unique polymer clay works every day! The variety and creativity is incredible!
There are people all over the world doing things with clay that I couldn't evin begin to imagine...

The Polymer Arts (thepolymerarts.com/) is a new magazine for all things Polymer Clay!
It's published quarterly, and the online copies cost only $5 (you download a PDF copy of the magazine).
